Hello, my name is Jennifer and I am a work at home mom of four children. Have you ever thought about "Living the American Dream?" To be able to stay at home with your children and still earn a decent income? Well here I am working from home and raising my children. Sometimes its not what its all cracked up to be but we make it day by day.
I am practically a single parent, my husband works out of state and only comes in once in a while. I love him dearly but I don't think he has a clue about what I do on a daily basis.
I read somewhere that we as mothers wear several different "hats". I will agree with that 100%! The only thing I thought was funny was that we needed to limit the number of hats we wear to 7. Can we do that? Lets see we are: mom, wife, PTO officer, cub scout leader, taxi, teacher, housekeeper, laundry service, bookkeeper, hostess, cook, Miss Fix-it, etc, etc, etc. Then for all of us that work we are also business owners, marketers, trainers, sales people, etc. So what 7 do we choose? Won't our children have a FIT if we left something out? I tell my kids one of these days mom is going to go on strike. They laugh and think that's funny but really, what would they do? lol
Well I do have four children: Dominic 14, Marissa 9, Luke 8 and Elisha 5. I love my children but they do make life interesting. Have you ever noticed that each of our children have a unique personality? My oldest is a teenager so well...he has a teenage attitude and of course he is ALWAYS RIGHT! My only daughter is this social bug that is a tomboy. Luke is as his teacher calls him my "old man", he takes everything very seriously. Then the baby is my husband made over - in one word - HYPER!
Our life is very interesting between school, homeschooling (my oldest), activities, and of course my business. I love being active or I would go crazy thinking about my husband being away. So here we are in a small town living day by day. I never know what tomorrow will bring!
